Fashion Matrix EPoS by Fashione.

When people search the internet for Epos or electronic Point of Sale solutions they are presented with hundreds, if not thousands of different types of solutions that cover different sectors of industry. These sectors in short can be grouped into particular classes or environments i.e. Hospitality, Retail and Leisure. All of these sectors are flooded by different solutions comprising of cash registers, computer driven systems and software solutions, in the case of retail there are even more types of business within the sector that would operate an Epos solution but only a few of them would require the use of a matrices or matrix enabled reporting facilities.

Retail can be broken down into different industry types such as convenience, gift and toys, fashion, electrical goods and in some solution cases, generic retail. The main industry type out of these that would utilise matrix for analysis is fashion. A fashion matrix Epos solution would differentiate a style by colour by size and more advanced solutions would incorporate fitting as well, for example lingerie or children’s footwear shops usually require fittings as well as the size and colour. In the case of lingerie a style would have a back size i.e. 34, cup size i.e. C (which would be the fitting) and colour. For children’s footwear the size i.e. 5 and the fitting i.e. F would be associated with the width of shoe.
In simplistic terms a fashion matrix epos solution would display stock or reporting analysis by means of a combination of rows and columns, like in a graph were the sizes are the columns spanning horizontaly and the colour and fittings are the rows spannning vertically.

Other retailers such as soft furnishings, haberdashery and even some gift ware retailers would also require a matrix epos system for analysis of an item that has multiple sizes and colours. Our fashion matrix epos solution is visually clear and easy to create, you can even view a matrix that includes stock locations across multiple retail outlets.
