Introduction
Paper money is another term for gift vouchers, gift cards and credit notes. In here you can view all the gift vouchers, gift cards and credit notes that have been issued on Fashione.
Gift Vouchers and Gift Cards
In Fashione, Gift Vouchers is default, these are paper vouchers that print from the POS.
Fashione does support Gift Cards, and can be switched on by contacting our support team.

Credit Notes
When a customer is returning items, you can issue them a credit note. These are paper credit notes, that print from the POS.
Expiry Dates
Both gift cards/vouchers and credit notes can have different expiry dates. To set up expiry dates please contact our support team.
If you don’t want gift cards/vouchers or credit notes to have expiry dates, this is the default set up.
(In the expiry date column, if no expiry dates are set, the expiry date, will show as the same date, as issued date).
Searching an Existing Gift Card/Voucher or Credit Note
- Select a branch (if you know it) and select the type and press search
. - A list will appear.
- To filter the list you can press filter
, and select a filter.
Filter Options:
- Serial Number
- Transaction Number
- Issued/Redeemed Date
- Amount
- Customer Name
Reprinting a Gift Voucher/Credit Note
By selecting the voucher/note in your search results, you can re print this, by pressing print 
.
Export Search Results
By pressing export 
, you can export the search results.
Adding a Gift Voucher or Card.
Here is where you can add a gift voucher/card, without taking a payment. For example, donating a voucher to charity.
To add a gift voucher/card press add 
.
- Select Type
- On number if your using a gift card, scan or enter the barcode number. If it’s a Gift Voucher you will need to generate a unique number code, minimum 8 digits.
- Enter an amount.
- Set an expiry date, however if you don’t want the voucher/card to expire, keep the expiry date, on today’s date.
- Select a VAT Rate and press ok.
- If using a gift card, the card will now be set to the amount. If voucher, an A4 print preview, will open for printing.
Redeeming a Gift Voucher, Card or Credit Note
There maybe some cases where you need to void/redeem an active Gift Voucher, Card or Credit Note.
Void/Redeeming a Gift Vouchers and Credit Notes.
- Search and select the voucher or credit note.
- Press Redeem.
- It will ask you to confirm you would like to redeem the following voucher. Press Yes.
Resetting a Gift Card
Gift cards are different. Because they are reusable, it will just reset the amount to £0, once you have redeemed it.
