Promotions

Promotions is where you can set up discount events or sales, so the items automatically scan at the till with there discounted price.

Promotions can be set up in advance.

The till will display the promotional reference and this will also print on the receipt.

Adding a promotion

Press add .

Fill in your reference and add your start and end dates.

To add products into the promotion, use the add button located just above the products grid.

When you have press ok to your advanced search, your search results will load with everything selected. You can press ok to bring everything through to the promotion or use the tick boxes to select or deselect items.

You will be taken back to the promotion screen with the selected items. Advance search can be done multiple times, to add more items to one promotion. Sale price can be set individually or by bulk using the Discount % or Sale Price boxes.

For example, if you put 50 in the Discount % box and press apply, it will discount the retail price by 50% and set this in the sale price column.

Alternatively, you can set the sale prices individually.

The items are listed by size, to set the price by style or colour, right click and press copy to style/colour.

When you finish your promotion press save .

You can round the sale prices by right clicking and going to prices and selecting one of the following:

Round up to zero
Round up to 5.00
Round up to 9.00
Round to .99
Round to .95
Round down to 0

Removing an item from promotion

Select the item in the list and press remove . You will need to do this for all the sizes.

Promotion Examples

Examples of how advance search can be used on the following example promotions.

Example 1 – A certain brand for current season to have 15% off.
Press add product .
On advance search enter brand name and season name, press ok.
Select all on the search results and press ok.
Enter 15 in Bulk Discount (%) and press apply.

Example 2 – Two Brands for current season to have 15% off.
Press add product .
On advance search enter the first brand name and season name, press ok.
Select all on the search results and press ok.
Press add product .
On advance search enter the second brand name and season name, and press ok. The list is now populated with both search results.
Enter 15 in Bulk Discount (%) and press Apply.

Example 3 – Entering individual items for different sale prices.
Press add product .
On advance search enter the first search.
Select and press ok.
Change sale price (use right click to set all to style).
Press add product ..
On advance search enter the next search and continue to add and enter sale prices.

Searching, Editing and Deactivating a Promotion

You can search existing promotions by pressing the magnify glass .

If you are looking to search by product, press more. Use the advance search to search for the product.
On the search results you can select which promotion you wish to view.

To edit the promotion, press edit .
