Introduction
Write Offs is usually used when your reducing stock due to the items being damaged, or that you want to record a reason why stock is being removed.
Creating a Write Off
To start a write off, press add
.
Reference, you can use the reference that has been randomly generated, or you can overwrite this, with your own reference.
Select the branch your write off is for.
You can scan or search for the items.
Scanning the items
Press the barcode icon
and scan all the items you wish to return and press ok. They will now show.
Finding the items
Press add
and use the advance search to find your item.
When you have an item selected, on the top grid this will be your current stock levels and in the bottom grid you can type in your quantity’s.
You can continue to add multiple items until you are finished.
Removing an Item
If you make a mistake on the quantity, you can use delete
to remove the line. Select the line with the mistake, this will highlight it and press delete.
You can add a write off reason for each item, in the reason box.
Press save
to save your write off.

You can press print
to print the write off.
Search a write off
Using search
, you can search by date range, reference and by branch.
To be more specific on your search you can press the more button to bring up the advanced product search.
Import CSV File
You can import a CSV file by pressing import
. File browse to the file and press open.
On the import CSV screen, you will need to map the PLU/Barcode column and quantity column (if available).
Pressing import will import the file.
